For this reason, ALEP organizes once a year an evening about studies and the profession of psychologists in Luxembourg. It is important to mention, that this is only possible by the support of the SLP (Luxembourg Psychological Society) and the UdL (Université du Luxembourg).
The evening normally starts with a brief presentation of the ALEP by the chairman. The central concept of this event is to invite professional psychologists, working in various fields (clinical, social, industrial psychology…). The chairman introduces the psychologists, and they will inform the interested public of their daily work as well of their completed academic coursework. Finally, all the participants will be invited to meet at the hall around a buffet.
The participating psychologists will take place at a table, representing their domain of work. This facilitates to identify the psychologists with whom the interested public would like to talk. This will also avoid, that professional psychologists unify and discuss topics among themselves so that the interested public hesitate to interrupt the discussion to ask questions.
In fact “la Soirée d’information” is a relax evening, with delicious finger food, free drinks and a friendly atmosphere. We hope to see you, at the next “Soirée d’information”.
