SLP

Luxembourg Psychology Society(SLP)

As the name suggests, it is an association of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg and represents the plurality of graduate psychologists and psychological psychotherapists.

Since 2001 it is an official member of the European Federation of Psychologists’ Association (EFPSA).

SLP is a professional organization of working psychologists. For psychology students it is quite important to be in touch with professionals: if one would like to do an intern ship, if one need practical information, and many more. But also for professionals it is important to be in touch with psychology students, because they will be the working partners of the future. For this reason, ALEP regularly stays in contact with SLP. One member of ALEP is a supplementary member in the SLP.

In 2011 Marc Haas will be the liaison officer for ALEP and all its members.

SLP and ALEP regularly work together. One example are the public conferences which will be held every second year. Another example is the “Soirée d’Information sur la Psychology”; in cooperation with SLP organizes ALEP an Information session on the profession of psychology.
